In my opinion, 1 forum is sufficient for both stakes. The play doesn't change that much and it would be easier to keep up with just 1 forum for the both.

Combining them is the worst idea ever.

The play is hugely different. The difference between the online 3/6 and 1/2 is huge. It would do a diservice to the entire forum to merge these two forums.

The micro forums are full of very simple questions. Sometimes a rough hand pops up, but generally it's people getting their sea-legs.

Here at SS we still have check-up posts, but the discussion usually goes much further.

Mixing these two forums is a terrible, terrible idea. I'm certian the poll will reflect this.

You type fast.

I hadn't really noticed a big difference in the play between the two. Sorry to bring it up then

I just can't think of any good reason to do this. Both forums move very fast as it is, if you double the throughput on each forum it would be so hard to keep up with any threads.

I think if anything, we should be sub-dividing the forums a bit more. I'm fine with how things are, but we definitely shouldn't be merging.

There seem to be more posts in this forum than I can read already.

I kind of confused by this, riff you've ben around long enough to remember when there wasn't a micro. There were good reasons as to why SS was split before. Also, the signal-to-noise could be better as things stand. Doubling the population of a single forum could make this place completely unreadable.
