Default Two-pair hit on river, 3-bet this heads up raise?

Button is 50% VPIP after 20 hands.

Pros of 3-betting: Board isn't draw-heavy... T8 and 68 are the only hands completing the straight. Opponent seems fishy from the marginal amount of info I have on him. It's possible he's slow-playing a big pair like AA, KK, or QQ.

Cons of 3-betting: It's heads-up and the pot isn't that large. He could be slow-playing a set or made a higher two-pair or straight along the way.

What do you do here?

I think I would just call here simply because I would feel sick if he capped. I'd rather just close the action here with a call.

Thanks. That's the line I should have taken. Instead, I 3-bet and my opponent capped it. I called and was shown J7o for a higher two-pair.

Call and then tell him he's a fish, no matter the outcome.

call...his line is call call call raise. He'd probably call you down with AJ. He's only raising because he has a better hand than top pair. The only hands better than top pair that you beat are 92,95,72 and 52. I suppose 75 is possible, or even 95, but the rest...
