Default posting pictures - help

I need advice on how to post pictures. The FAQ says they have to have a URL. Since I have no website, and don't want to pay to set one just up to post a few pics, I guess I will need use a service that supplies free webhosting.
Is this right? If so, which service is easiest to use and has the least obnoxious ads?

What do I have to do to have the pics just show up when my post loads as opposed to leaving a link to be clicked on?

Thanks in advance,
Leonard

I'll 2nd imageshack... it's easy.

Many ISP's offer web space with their online services (e.g. BellSouth, Earthlink, AOL etc...) just thought I'd mention it in case you have some & didn't know it.

To have an image inside a post use the image tag (See the instant UBB code under the posting text box). To make the pic a clickable image (e.g. using a thumnail to link to larger image) use the image tag inside the url tag.

Another easy way to figure out how to do things is when you see msgs doing things you do not know how to do is to click the "quote" like you are responding to their threads and see how they did it.

Good luck & welcome to the forums,
Fins
