My NCAA Future Bets
Over the last 3 weeks I have been betting futures online for the NCAA tourny. These are my bets:
bet(odds) to win UCONN 200(60-1) - 12000 OKLAH 110(60-1) - 6600 PITT 90 (75-1) - 6750 TEXAS 30 (300-1) - 9000 STAN 20 (500-1) - 10000 (bet today on betwwts.com) S.ILL 20 (400-1) - 8000 WV 40 (1000-1) - 40000 (bet today on betwwts.com) LSU 10 (500-1) - 5000 CRIE 10 (1000-1) - 10000 All of the teams are longshots that I think could have a chance. Anyone else have any future bets in the NCAA tourny? I cant wait for the seeding to be anounced. |

Re: My NCAA Future Bets
I like your top 3 bets, but don't like the others.
I only have one future, it's a 10-1 ticket on Illinois I bet in mid-December. |

Re: My NCAA Future Bets
I got UK several months ago at 35-1 at carrib. Put 20 on it. I am not that sure they will win but they are 12-1 now so I have some value.

Update
These were the teams I bet:
Team bet odds -to win UCONN 200(60-1) - 12000 OKLAH 110(60-1) - 6600 PITT 90 (75-1) - 6750 TEXAS 30 (300-1) - 9000 STAN 20 (500-1) - 10000 S.ILL 20 (400-1) - 8000 WV 40 (1000-1) - 40000 LSU 10 (500-1) - 5000 CRIE 10 (1000-1) - 10000 Well of the 9 teams I bet I have one left West Virginia, with a $40 bet at 1000-1. There still a big dog, probably 30/40-1 but you never know. If I wanted to hedge this bet, what would be the best way? (I was thinking elite eight and on in betting againest them) Anyone have any thoughts? |

I'd love to hedge to guarantee $500 or so, maybe even a lot more in the final 4 and finals if they got that far, but you'd need a fat sportsbetting roll which you might not have If I had an unlimited amount of dough laying around it'd be easy to hedge for guaranteed profits, but you'd need well over 5 grand disposable incase they make it far in the tourney. If you don't have enough cash to hedge properly I'd just root REALLY hard for them |
