Default stars or others could really profit here...

if party cancels rakeback for all skins like everyone is panicing will happen, what if some other sites like stars started offering affiliate programs allowing rakeback? i see masses of people leaving party if this happens, and this being allowed, everyone would flow to that site and they could profit huge off of the new business.

i know i'm leaving party skins with the end of rakeback if it comes, no way am i paying such extremely high rake without any of it coming back to me.

Masses of 2+2'ers leave party to play at stars for rakeback....

Where would the more EV game be?

stars is getting 35k+ players during peak hours.

their philosophy has always been to not rely on affiliate promoting.
they are not going to change and give rake-back....the situation with pokernow and IGM isn't going to provoke them to do a damn thing.

Some of the speculation stemming from this little pokernow situation is flat-out ridiculous.

It's okay Bob, it will be you, me and 50,000 fish at this rate.

Even I can't turn down party on those terms

Yeah, it's getting pretty bad.
I may not even be able to read the zoo for a few days.

And wouldn't that just be a crime?

(my apologies Lori, this has nothing to do with the post it ended up under. As is usually the case with me, I just kept reading and kept my mouth shut untill it all hits a critical mass, then it dumps out whereever I happen to be)

What I cant figure out is why Party doesn't just create a frequent player bonus that it payes out directly. Then there is no need to change accounts/skins, no need to find a affiliate, etc. It would cost them some portion of profits, but it already is anyway. Coming from a casino industry I cant understand why they choose not to give meaningfull comps to their high rollers and frequent players when every B&M casino does it to ensure loyalty to their casino. How did Party miss this in the first place?

I wish we could be rewarded for our huge contribution to their profitablity without the whole affiliate mess, but as they have never shown an interest in that idea I use the affiliates without guilt. Even if I didn't use rakeback, I would still have to jump though hoops and have multiple accounts so I could play in both Party's and Empire's tournaments and play more than 4 tables.

The entire setup is a mess, but it is a mess that Party created. My job would be much easier if Party wasn't being run by shortsighted idoits.

There are prima affiliates that offer 40% rakeback. I am not sure but the sites might approve of it. So you and the masses should start moving on that.
