Default 1/2 vs .5/1

I'm having a bit of trouble moving up to the 1/2 tables. I built my bankroll at .5/1 to move up, but I can't seem to gain at the 1/2 tables. Here are some meaningless stats:
.5/1 15,000 hands 5.34BB/100
1/2 8400 hands -.08BB/100
All of my other stats are the same (VPIP, PFR, AF-TOT...).
It seems like I get sucked out on a lot more at the 1/2 tables. I get aggressive to protect my hand and someone invariably catches the river. This probably sounds like a whine, but I would appreciate some words of wisdom from those wiser than me.

.5/1 lets you get away with some nasty bad habits that if you aren't careful turn you into breakeven or worse player at 1/2, and above .. post a hand or 2 that you aren't comfortable playing(tip, don't post a monster and ask if you squeezed every penny out of it, post something much more marginal, where you weren't sure of what to do)

1/2 is much harder than 15/30, honestly dont take your money to the 1/2 game.

pseudo-serious reply:

I am willing to bet you money that this:
.5/1 15,000 hands 5.34BB/100
1/2 8400 hands -.08BB/100

has nothing to do with this:
It seems like I get sucked out on a lot more at the 1/2 tables.

But you already know that.

Search the archives. This is often discussed.

In fact, just yesterday, this thread resurfaced:
limits by ajax

post hands.
discuss them.
learn.
pwn.

best of luck

Thanks for the replies. Guess I need to spend more time posting and replying in the forums. Thanks for the link, Tilt. Ajax says it very well.

Other than too many starting hands, what are some of the biggest leaks at .5/1 that are accentuated at 1/2?

If I had to guess it would be getting too aggressive with marginal hands heads up, but I am not sure.
