Default Maybe I\'m not ready for $5/10?

Just made the jump after beating $3/6 at 2 BB/100 over about 35K hands. I have a $4000 bankroll, so I made the jump a few days ago. Several hands had me very perplexed, wondering if maybe 5/10 is a totally different game vs 3/6, or are the players at 5/10 that much more bizarre?

Hand 1.

Getting sucked out by the Ace happens alot it seems. I dropped back down to 3/6 but whenever I was playing 5/10 on Empire etc someone always seemed to beat my JJ or QQ by just calling me down and hitting their A/4o on the turn or river.
In the long run you'll win more than you lose but it is a bit annoying

both the 1st 2 hands look like they were trying to push you off overcards, i think you need to 3-bet in these spots more often as you'll see a lot of semibluffing and crazy plays in 5/10. they got pretty lucky in each hand, hitting a 5 outter on the river.

3rd hand, i'd probably check/call or check/fold the turn.

4th hand, i'd probably bet but i would hate a check/raise there.

You don't give reads. I don't think autopiloting 5/10 and up is a very good idea. From playing 3/6 for the first time since September last night, I think that the days of autopiloting/multidonking through 3/6 might be over as well.

The players are more aggressive. They will try to push you off hands. They will value bet better. And, from the hands you post, it appears that they are quite skilled at sucking out.

Are you implying I'm retarded. I certainly hope not.

Anyways, the point of this post was not to brag about bad beats, as someone implied, but rather to show some plays that I had not experienced, or experienced very little of in $3/6, but have come across more often at $5/10. Mainly the trying to push me off of overcards, and betting out draws. Are these more common at $5/10, as the game itself is more aggressive?

I'm not really concerned about getting sucked out on by and ace, but in this hand I just found the check raise on the turn to be surprising. After the hand she said that I deserved it, and that she was able to take control of the hand by making that move. I congratulated her on her check raise with 3 outs, and she continued to justify it. Oh well.
