Default Standard-seeming Top-Pair Hand

Villain is loose (23/13/5-200 hands at a quite tight table), and he's quite aggressive on all streets.

I should fold here preflop, no? Also, should I bet the river?

1/2 Party

CO posts blind + dead (1.5 SB).

Hero is UTG+2 w/K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

2 Folds. Hero calls. 2 callers, including villain.
CO checks. Button and SB fold. BB checks.

(8 SB)Flop 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB Checks. Hero bets. Villain raises. 1 fold. CO calls. BB folds. Hero 3-bets. Villain calls. CO calls.

(8.5 BB) Turn 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets. Villain calls. CO folds.

(10.5 BB) River 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I'd fold pre-flop and probably still bet that river.

You should fold PF, KJo isn't a good hand in EP. Bet this river 100% of the time,

KJo is a bad hand huh? Crap, i have a soft spot for face cards i don't play 1/2 limits (.25/.5 right now), so hopefully i can get the thinking of playing this hand EP out of my head before it becomes a bad habit.

KJo tends to make 2nd best hands often. It's alright in mid or late position in an unraised pot, but you hate to limp with it and get raised later. You'll usually be dominated.

What do I do with it at an average table in like MP2 when it's folded to me? Can I open-raise with it there, or should I fold it or (I can't believe I should) open-limp?

Depends, I'm more comfortable open-raising in MP3 but at a tight table open raising in MP2 is fine.

I think that it depends on two things - the table and your post flop play. If you're at a super-tight table and it's folded to you in MP, toss it. Likewise in loose games when lots of players see the flop you can safely throw it away. When you're at a table that's neither, it's playable but you just can't get too attached to one pair.

Bet the river. The preflop call is marginal, but not bad.
