I've never posted my stats before. Like most who are new to Poker Tracker, I had a burning desire to post my stats after 1K and 2K and 5K hands, but I resisted. When I got to 10K I didn't really care about posting my stats anymore because I felt I had a pretty good idea about where I was as a player. After 25K hands, I feel like I still make many of the same postflop mistakes I did after 10K hands, but am better at recognizing preflop situations where I can be more aggressive in late position. My pf raise % hasn't changed much though, probably because at the same time I became more aggressive in late position I became less aggrerssive early, folding ATo and KJo in situations where I used to bring them in for a raise.
All of these stats are from .5/1. 95% were played at Party, the rest at Paradise. VPIP: 18.47% VPIP SB: 33.14% Folded SB to steal: 82.69% Folded BB to steal: 72.22% Att. Steal: 26.64% Won $ WSF: 29.31% BB/100: 6.73 Went to SD: 30.45% Won $ at SD: 55.75% PF Raise: 8.42% Steal Success: 58.82% AF Flop: 2.97 AF Turn: 2.96 AF River: 2.66 Position BB/Hand, PFR: Button .10, 9.27% 1 .11, 8.54% 2 .13, 9.14% 3 .09, 8.27% 4 .11, 9.17% 5 .14, 8.66% 6 .00, 9.26% 7 .05, 9.45% BB -.04, 6.32% SB -.02, 7.26% Top 10 hands, BB/Hand: AA 3.50 KK 3.29 JJ 1.64 TT 1.15 KQs 1.09 AQo 1.07 ATs 1.00 AKo 0.99 AKs 0.95 99 0.71 If anyone has any recommendations to where I should go from here, I'd appreciate it. I'm not really thrilled about moving to 1/2 full but 1/2 6-max interests me. I'm actually considering trying the $25 NL now that they've changed the blind structure. 2/4 is where I think I wanna be eventually. |

You're ready for 1/2.
Edit: And definitely play some 1/2 full if you plan on moving to 2/4 full. Even if it's only 10-15K hands, it will teach you a lot about playing in a tighter (weak-tight, but still tighter) game. |

Impressive BB/100 hands, staying at .50/1 is now a bit pointless. I'd move up for sure.

[ QUOTE ] After 25K hands, I feel like I still make many of the same postflop mistakes I did after 10K hands [/ QUOTE ] What kinds of mistakes? You should contribute to other peoples' threads & maybe post some hands to figure this out. Your stats look pretty good. If there are any areas that are off, they are only off by a little. You might fold a little too much at the end. You might give up your blinds a little too much. You might steal more. Again, any changes in these areas should be incremental. If you want to move to 1/2 6m, then by all means do so. The biggest variable in answering the question "should I move up, and to where?" is your own mindset. If you think you're ready, then you probably are. |

dude where ever you go, leave .5/1.
if you want to play 2/4 limit, I suggest both 1/2 full and 1/2 6 max limit. here's a post by ajax detailing why to play each. Ajax's post sorry is this is a repost. |

I am checkraised, I hold top pair. I have trouble with that. [ QUOTE ] Your stats look pretty good. If there are any areas that are off, they are only off by a little. Folded BB to steal: 72.22% [/ QUOTE ] This is the only thing that stood out to me. You could probably defend more, but you're likely not missing out on much. From what I've seen so far the 1/2 5m games at Paradise are easy pickins, alot more passive than Party 1/2 6m- limited sample though. |

Should I be mining before I do? [/ QUOTE ] I suppose as a responsible 2+2er, I'm supposed to tell you to mine for a month before sitting down. But I didn't. I just jumped right in. I would suggest reading the HUSH forum. A lot. Before jumping in. And find a good starting hands chart for SH. |
