Default 99 in a pot full of blinds

Not many previous hands against my opponents here, general impression: at least a little loose, and not especially passive preflop.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG+2 posts a blind of $3. MP2 posts a blind of $2. MP3 posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls, UTG+2 (poster) checks, MP1 calls, MP2 (poster) checks, MP3 (poster) raises, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 1 fold, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (15.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 bets, CO folds, Hero raises, UTG folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.

I'm check-raising this flop to get as many to fold as possible. Agree?

Turn: (10.75 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP3 calls.

If I think I'm probably behind (but not drawing dead) after MP3's bet am I right to check-raise again, or is this overly aggressive? I did so in an attempt to push out others on an overcard/straight draw.

River: (14.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

(I would have just called any river bet.)

Final Pot: 14.75 BB

I'd 3-bet pre-flop. Getting it HU or 3-way with all that dead money in there is really nice.

I don't think the flop C/R is a good idea. MP3 could be on overcards that's he'd rather take the free card with.

Turn looks good.

I think you should value bet the river.

I agree with Joshua on the pre flop three bet. But played as you did I like the flop c/r but you should have led the turn your lucky it didn't get checked through and I would have value bet the river I disagree with you thinking your probably behind.
