Default How Do You Play This Hand?

$1,500 buyin, live MTT with 58 entries. We are down to 11 players and are just in the money (top 11 get paid). My table it 6 handed.

Blinds are 1500/3000 with a 100 ante, and I am in the BB with ~T37,000.

Folded to button who min raises to 6K. SB calls, and I call with Q7o. Pot is T18,600. Button has raised 2/3 last hands and I generally view him as a solid player.

Flop comes Q J 6 rainbow, and SB checks. I lead out for T10,000. Button raises to 20K. SB folds. Pot has ~T49K and I have ~T21K left. Button barely has me covered.

Your action? I haven't played a lot of hands, but have shown down KK and AK.

Push or fold.
I push. You're already into this pot for nearly half of your starting stack. If you push he'll autocall the extra 11K making the pot effectively 60K or 3-1 on your push. 3-1 definately works for me with top pair here.

You're already in the money and this pot may get you to the top.

no way you should let this hand go. only issue is how to get the rest of his money in. i'd call and check the turn to give him a chance to bluff at it.

my choices pre-flop are 1) fold 2) push 3) call

Interesting. You fold preflop to a min raise and a caller? Pot is offering 5:1. (15.5K in pot and 3K to call.)

id much rather call with 64s, or 78o than Q7o here preflop. This flop is exactly why. If your gonna play the hand this way to this point you gotta play it for all your chips.

i might push. there are a lot of chips to be picked up with a push. Either push or fold are better than calling though.

And you'd call with 64s or push too? What about 72o?

For the record, I pushed after his raise, and he called and turned over QJ leaving me requiring runner/runner something. I didn't get it.
