Default Deadwood Season 2 premire

It was on last night. Does anyone else watch this? I watched the 1st season last year and thought it got better as the season went on. I thought the show last night was easily the best yet, which gives me hope that the entire season will be awsome.

Deadwood fan here...

I thought the premiere was good, but I was upset by something I noticed in the "next episode" montage after the show. For a split second, they seemed to show a man with a thermal-type shirt and suspenders (Swerengen) being thrust into antlers (from a deerhead or something) on the wall, thus goring him.

If they kill him off, Im afraid I wont be able to get into the show, being as he carries it IMHO

I agree. Swerengen carries the show. They won't kill him off. Where was Ricky Jay in the opener? I hope he is going to be on the show this season.

There is no way they kill AL off. But I don't see how Bullock and him will be able to co-exist after all of this.

Between this show and Carnivale, last night was very enjoyable.

I actually had a hard time getting really into Deadwood because I was anxious for Carnivale to start.

Which reminds me, I need to do some research as to what "omega" signifies...

I'm a big fan of the show and thought last night's episode was really, really good.

Eddie isn't on the show anymore because he stole money from Cy to help Joannie start her brothel.

I think Wyatt Earp might show up this season - he made a stop for a bit in Deadwood (the historical one).

And no way they kill off Al - the best character by far.

If anyone has TIVO, try slowing down the preview for next week, to see if its really Al getting pwned.

I love the show. But warning to those offended by profanity, there's lots. The over/under for "cokcsukcer" I think is probably 50, per episode.
