Default 3 post flop folds - too weak?

First of all, I apologize for posting 3 hands in one post, but since they are related and pretty much similar situations, I will do it.

Next, I'm getting back into 5/10 6-max. My first run was an eye-opener. I played roughly 9k hands, up 100BB (first 3k hands), then ran into a 275BB downswing (last 6k hands). I took a 6 week break from 5/10 SH and went back to 3/6 (playing some 1/2 6-max to get back into the SH mindset). I've been taking stabs at 5/10 6-max (and full) for the past few weeks (keeping about 10% of my weekly hands at 5/10) and had very little luck.

One of my problems I seem to run into is calling down too much. Some other times, I get pushed off my hands. At 3/6, I feel real comfortable with these decisions, but at 5/10, I sometimes feel lost.

Enough rambling.... here are the hands:

In all these hands, the tables are playing on average 45%+ VPIP and about 10-15% pfr.

Hand 1:

UTG stats: VPIP 54 /PFR 16

Party 5/10 6-max (5 players)

My intention here was to call the flop and raise the turn to a safe card.

I know this is a bluffing situation. I don't think it's an 8. If so, with his hi c/r%, he would have c/r here. I would expect this from a J.

Hand 3:

Party 5/10 6-max (5 handed)

With the pf action, figured an ace was out there.

Easypete:

Hand 1:

I am okay with it. If you are not behind, you are most likely playing for a split. Pot is pretty small so the fold looks fine to me.

Hand 2:

I do not like this fold as much, but what do you do? I don't think he has an 8, but a J is a very real possiblity, as is a picked up flush draw. My first instinct is to raise the turn (fold to a 3 bet) and take a free showdown...but it seems too often my opponent does not cooperate and bets the river again. I dunno, I don't think it is really bad or anything, I am just not as comfortable with it.

And when you do fold in this type of spot, you may encourage others to take shots when the scare card comes.

Hand 3:

Against an unknown, I would probably call down.
