Default What a weekend....

Disclaimer: Sorry in advance, if this type of post is bad etiquette, but I had to tell someone about this weekend!! Ever felt that way??

Anyway, so I come home Friday after school and log on to play some poker. Didn't see too many good 3/6 games, so I found some nice 2/4 tables to sit at. Shortly thereafter, I'm down about $300 .

Later that night, I log back on. Played some 3/6, didn't really like the overall selection of the tables However, I noticed the 5/10 full games looked exceptionally good (how rare). Had a great (but short) session at 5/10, and called it a night.

Saturday, I'm feeling high after that nice 5/10 session. I didn't really feel like playing 2/4 or 3/6, and the 5/10 full games weren't that appealing. So I thought I'd take another stab at 5/10 6max (only two tables at once, though). Thankfully I did!!!

Today, logged on for another session. The 3/6 games looked pretty good, so I played them for a while.

Anyway, so after a horrible start to the weekend at 2/4, the rest of the weekend brought me an unprecedented upstreak of about $1600!!

Note: some of the 2/4 and 3/6 hands were from earlier in the month.

Is this sustainable, do you think??

What a rush. Thanks for listening.

Adam

PS - ever dread logging back on to play poker again, for fear that the other side of variance is going to kick you in the a$$??

I think my latest streak is right up there, but I'm running super hot.

Today up just over 110 bets at the 5-10 6 max. But Im up like 320 bets in the last 8 days in 5-10 short.

Ive been running rediculously hot since mid-January. I think I'm averaging over 4BB/100 over the last 20k hands or so. The funny thing is, you know its not sustainable so you think every session you sit down that the "law of averages" or "variance" is going to catch up with you, even though that is totally irrational.

It sure is fun though isn't it?

About a month ago I made 280 big bets in six hours and didn't play again for a week. I don't have a professional attitude.

I know this isn't limit hold'em, but I think I can one up you. This is all Omaha or Omaha 8.

I wonder if that winrate is sustainable?
