Default Best Streetfighter Character

My pick is Sagat. If you know how to use him, he is the best fighter. He has all of the moves of Ken and Ryu, plus he has more range with his kicks and punches and can do the high and low tiger shot.

Agreed. This poll should not have included the special characters. (So I voted for Guile).

there was a glitch in SF2 where one could land one medim throw with chun li and chain them as their opponent got up, till they were dead. lacking that, it's easily Ryu. Ha-Du-Ken! Bi-atch!

This poll is making me nostalgic.

Is there a good version of SF out for PS2?

SF Anniversary Collection

Play SF2 (when you choose a character, you can choose which revision of that character you'd like to play (CE, Turbo, etc) AND SF3.

Ryu is the only correct answer. However, I'm not surprised that people pick Chun-Li. Since she is the fastest character, she is the easiest for a beginner to grasp.

I find this game very interesting from a game theory standpoint. I think in most matchups, optimal strategy on both parts results in a draw. (Basically this means that whoever makes the first move, is making a mistake).

Negative. You can get out of this. Chun Li is a powerful character, but an expert will dominate with the only acceptable character: Ken/Ryn.
