Default David Beats Phil Ivey

Hi Everyone:

David just called me with the news that he won his match against Phil Ivey. He plays the winner of Johnny Chan / James Woods next.

best wishes,
Mason

YES! That is a tough first round too! Phil Ivey is a stone cold killer short handed!

Damn, just finalised a bet with a guy who had Ivey 2 to 1 over Sklansky, and now the news breaks. Deal's off now. Damn.

I'm surprised David doesn't enter more poker events. His recent success coupled with more great performances will boost 2+2 sales through the roof!

Daniel Negreanu looking like a moron:

He's good in theory and writing about it...so he's probably good puting it into practice.

That's the problem- no he's not. Sklansky doesn't execute very well at all because one of the keys to applying theory is having a feel for what your opponent has. That's a major weakness of his and one of Ivey's biggest strength

The real Heads up duel of the century is Sklansky vs. Malmuth. Who would win this Clash of the Titans?

Maybe Mason can tell us?

Surely you've gone Heads up against David before?
