Default QQ PP 50NL

Villian in this hand is 28vpip 14 pf and a fairly solid player. I had no idea what to do on the river as probably set myself up for a nice bluff. What is my play on the river?

I would bet more pre-flop and on the flop. A half-pot bet on the turn is probably fine, but would be more with more betting earlier. I'm not sure what the $5 bet into a $42 pot is supposed to do, though, I think it screams weakness. If you've been playing aggressively on the earlier streets and he's not budging, I think a check/fold on the river is warranted, unless you have a real read that he's making a play.
