Default Your favorite flop for A,K without getting the nuts

whats up everyone...My game is good, but I find myself getting into trouble when I have AK and flop high pair. i was just wondering what is the safest flop under these circumstances. this answer will really help me out
1. a 4/8 limit either live or online
2. standard game...not too loose or tight..

Ok so you have AK unsuited and are UTG and you raise. what would the best (non ridiculous flop). For arguments sake lets say that UTG +4, UTG +5, Button, and BB call the raise.

I am putting 2 polls up for different positions so if you dont mind please give me a clue...I put the various flops up based on the conditions...thankyou in advance for your help

This poll is sort of pointless, in that it doesn't really help you play. The flop is what it is, no matter what you want it to be. You have to learn to play well no matter what the flop is.

If you are having trouble playing top pair top kicker, you have major problems in your game. Post some actual hands that you were unsure about to get constructive feedback on your actual play.

Better to hit the King. Lots of people play ace-rag, so if you hit your ace you could be up against two pair.

The times your opponent has two pair are far outweighed by the times your ace out kicks their hand, and they pay you off

With that much money in the pot, I suppose I'd like to see K22. Much better than A22.

First hand? all those flops suck for getting any action.

2nd hand? K, 6, 7

The pot is big enough that ensuring you have a huge equity is fine. I only want action from hands that are drawing to less than 3 outs. The best flop for that is K22.
