Since the home Paulson mold is terrible and you can't get customs made, I chose Chipco. Not really a fair comparison. OBS Paulsons are just way too expensive. It would be better to compare two companies that make customs or companies that dont.

I beg to differ... All you need is 100,000 chip order and you can get customs. No problem.

I think you need to answer this question first:

Do I want a chip that feels, sounds and looks like a traditional chip (Paulson) or do I prefer a highly customizable and graphically rich style chip (ChipCo)?

Either one should be sufficient for a home game but then again Dice-style chips are sufficient for a home game.

Would prefer Paulsons over Chipcos. After a while the Chipco chips start to fade and lose their color. Paulsons will stay looking better for a longer time.

I really doubt you'll see much of a difference in a home set of Chipcos over their lifetime. It's not like you'll use the chips 24/7/365 like the chips get used in a casino.

Traditionally, a chipco home set will last a person a lifetime.
