Default Do you open-limp from EP with Axs?

SSH says to do it.

If you do - or if you don't - what limits do you play, and online, or live?

If you are doing this. Look at your pokertracker stats for AXs UTG, UTG+1. Then stop.

I'm not voting here because there's not enough info. SSHE doesn't just say "Do it." There are plenty of caveats in the Suited Aces portion of the Preflop Hand Categories in SSHE.

I think the biggest factor here is whether or not you're game is passive or aggressive (as SSHE points out). In a passive game, you'll get more needed free cards.

If you're not doing this in a passive game, start.

Agreed. This decision is based entirely on the texture of the table. I play 2/4 on Party so I'll vote most often - Yes!!

You know what...

I think the timing of this quiz is quite appropriate actually in regards to Flair's post about Nate's post and also a comment that Bob T. had yesterday.

We were having a discussion about QJos in MP after 1 limper. Bob says "Limping is playing the cards, Raising is playing the game".

Nate's post has to do with developing as a card player and getting away from charts and so forth.

There's a healthy mix here. If you never limp EP with suited aces, even A2s, I think you're missing out and not playing the game. If you always do so, I think missing it and also not playing the game.

I played some 2/4 today and would certainly limp with Axs. It's a rarity to find a 3/6 table where this is correct.

These hands are profitable at decent tables (and I looked at PT to confirm, too!). Edit: My data is from 2/4 (and 1/2).
