K5o readjustment
I'm trying to make the transition from 10/20 6-max back to full games and one area that needs adjustment is playing a weak top pair from the blinds. How do you handle this flop/turn? Assume typical opponents.
Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero bets?, UTG folds, MP2 calls, CO raises, SB folds, Hero calls?, MP2 calls. Turn: (5.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero... planning to...? |

Re: K5o readjustment
Check Fold
You should have re-raised the flop to get MP2 out or fold. problems on the turn because you can not check call again. |

Re: K5o readjustment
Bet. If CO raises again, I would fold. Bet a non-heart river. They're most likely on draws. That Q might've given JQ two pair though. Think of it this way - what hand with a K in it are they limping with? Maybe KJ but it's unlikely.

Re: K5o readjustment
What's wrong with Check/calling here
Presumably MP2 will check after you, then CO can only 1 bet. limpers may be drawing... |
