Ok so i have been playing .5/1 for 8,500 hands. My stats are:
VPIP 20% PFR 8% WTSD 34% W$SD 50% AF 2.8% BB/100 3.38 So i am going to try integrating one 1/2 table with 2 .5/1 tables to test the waters a bit. My question here is i hear the 1/2 tables are the worst on party just curious which #'s i should expect to drop and what the tables are like. Any comments welcome |

VPIP should drop a couple points. WTSD seems a bit high and W$SD seems a bit low. Those go hand and hand I guess. Expect your BB/100 to drop. 1/2 is much more tight as well as aggressive than .50/1. Still crushable though.

While the play on 1/2 is atrocious it is by no means the worst. In fact, located between the raving lunatics of 50/1 and 2/4 you might even consider it an oasis of sanity. 1/2 tends to play tighter than these levels from what I've found.

Numbers look good. Countine to play the same way and 1/2 should not be to hard of change. Each step up expect to see more aggrisive players. 1/2 might be the expcetion to that rule. I been seeing more TAP then LAG or TAG.

VPIP might drop a little (17-18% is pretty standard). What needs a little bit of improvement is W$SD. Since your WTSD is pretty high you might be calling down with a little to many hands. Good luck! |

I'm mixing in 1/2 with my regular 0.5/1 as well to clear this bonus faster. From the few tables of 1/2 I have played so far, it seems to play very similar to 0.5/1. I don't think your starting hand selection should change at all between 0.5/1 and 1/2. However, I did notice people got more aggressive preflop, especially if many people had folded and it got short-handed.
p.s. your vpip may be a tad too high. Then again, you only have 8500 hands, so, sample size blah blah.... And make sure youre sufficiently bankrolled before you play at 1/2 for any extended period of time. |

Table selection is much more important at 1/2. Don't stay at a table with a VPIP < 30 (do not let PT include your stats in this calculation). It might take some time to find a good place to play each session, but it's worth it.

Your VPIP is fine, dont work to decrease it if you are comfortable playing those hands, it will happen on its own because of the tighter tables.
