Default Party 1/2... what?

Figured this was going to be a split after the turn action...

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, CO folds, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (6 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

River: (14 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 22 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
UTG has 8h 5h (high card, ace).
Hero has Kd Th (straight, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins 22 BB. </font>

Wow.

Well now I feel dumb because I folded the winning high card ace (gutshot + 2 overcards, was planning to fold if I didnt win) against someone who had bet all the way to the river. A7s won the 9 or 10BB pot unimproved.

Edit: this is the only time this month I can remember folding the winner on the river, so I guess it's not too brutal, but it still makes you feel pretty dumb.

I just folded 66 on the flop when three overcards came, and there was a bet and a raise infront of me. Ace high won that hand. I didn't feel dumb, I felt like punching my monitor.

I've done the same thing myself. All I can say is make the correct plays when you need to. As an aside, I really do need to improve my WTSD%.
