$10+1\'s after 100 games... comments?
I know that this isn't that large of a sample size, but from graphing my cumulative gain, I seem to have not too much variance. I started on party with $60 and started playing 10+1's (3-tabling) with no rakeback (i wish i did).
Anywyas, after 102 tournies here are my stats: Overall Gain/Loss: +$428 Avg Gain/Trny: $4.20 (smoke'em if you got'em) Total ROI: 38.1% ITM: 48.04% Avg Time per tourny: 36min Most Games without ITM: 7 1st - 11 2nd - 24 3rd - 14 4th - 13 5th - 8 6th - 14 7th - 9 8th - 4 9th - 2 10th - 3 Generally I use the 2+2 certified method of SnG's, playing very little hands until the blinds are high enough to steal. I think I've been doing pretty good, and just wanted some encouragement, or comments on my stats. So 50 buy-ins in the standard to move up huh? I'll be able to start the $20+2's in 150 tournies then |

Yeah. Good job. I wish my last 100 tournies looked like that. But they don't. Variance isn't always so kind.
Also, realize that because in 100 your results are fairly 'constant' doesn't even begin to indicate that your results over time will be. In fact, I can guarantee that they won't be if you continue to play. Yugoslav |

Yeah, I do realize its not a big enough sample to know my long term gain... but its a good start. Keeps my confidence up i guess.
Whats a good sample to know? 500? 1000? And does anyone have a mirror of Aleo's Confidence spreadsheet? I cant seem to access his site |

you have the same problem I do, playing HU at the end. Have you evaluated this part of your game?

Re: $10+1\'s after 100 games... comments?
What exactly is the 2+2 SnG method? I've been browsing lots of threads trying to find one that explains it explicitly, but I am coming up empty-handed. I know you play ultra-tight in the early rounds (pretty much laying down anything but AK, AA, KK, QQ) and limping with pocket pairs when you can get in cheap... but what about the later rounds? When is the right time to get very aggressive? And exactly how aggressive should you be getting? Moving in with Ax to try to steal the blinds? This seems a little too reckless to be successful. If someone could explain these little details, I'd really appreciate it.

I have evaluated this, and have actually gotten a lot better when heads up at the end. More of my first places have been toward the end of the 100 games

How did you manage to finish 10th 3 times in a 100?

I guess that means me having 3 tenth places in 34 tournies is pretty bad

is 3 in 100 bad? I went out on KK vs AA once, QQ vs AK, and set over set I think. Was too aggressive... i noticed my flaws and changed them
