Default This is bad, right? (low content)

Party 2/4, nearly full table, folded to LP (no strong reads, just looks average so far) who raises. I'm next in CO w/ A9s. I call.

Very bad, right?

How about: I 3 bet.

Just as bad, right?

i would personally fold. but if the raiser is weak, and you decide on playing the hand, a 3-bet is better than calling, IMO.

im confused, folded to you? how are u going to three bet,

And not raising here is probably worse than folding.

You hand is probably better than any random hand the blinds might have.

But if your thinking of 3 betting. then definately fold.

easy fold then.

You hand isn't good enough to resteal. Maybe AT u could 3 bet to resteal with position. But i usually just fold. and wait till next time, or get off this tight table.

I think fold is your best choice.

If you knew that he was very aggressive, I don't think a threebet would be very far out of line.

Calling is easily worst. I make a note on a player, when they Coldcall, and then fold on the flop. If you call here, then you will likely be making that play.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

I think that I was at your table at this hand, i remember u raising his flop bet and then being c/red on the turn and calling down. I thought every street was pretty bad here when i checked the hand history. That was funny seeing at least four of us at the table last night though... Damn table selection.

FWIW, i would have folded PF and then having seen a flop i would call-call-call. Perhaps raise the turn and fold to a three bet, but i don't think so. I believe this was the correct hand (villain had AA on an ace high flop, right?)

Yep, that's the hand... don't remember the details at the moment, but I do remember the AA. Of course, it's extra embarrasing that three 2+2ers had to witness my foolishness! Once he showed his hand, it was all pretty obvious in hindsight, but at the time I just got the idea that he was on a steal stuck in my head. Last night was not a good night overall.
