Default SnG hand analysis please

7 handed in a 45 person tourney, blinds 100/200. I'm a middle sized stack, at 7500 with two other stacks over 10k. UTG (10k+) raises to 1100. I'm on the button, with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. What should I have done?

Raise to 3000-5000, and call him if he moves all-in?

My typical play would be to call here. With 5000 in chips I'd move allin.

Well, I pushed all in on him right there. Short stack to my left called for about $2800, and the raiser also called. Hand results in white below:

Short stack caller turns over A9os, and raiser turns over AJos (I had put him on AQ). Flop is 8 8 Q rainbow. Turn is a 2, and the river? A J, of course.

In retrospect, not a bad decision, but a bad result.
