Default KK, small stack, UTG close to the money

The blinds are 1500 and 3000. My stack is 18,000 and I'm UTG with KK. There are 2 large stacks about 120,000 to act after me. I make it 6,000 to go. Would it have been better to push all in here or try to get some action with the samll raise? There are about 90 players left, top 81 in the money.

Thanks,

Toffler

alllllll innnn

obvious reasons

what if you get called by a big stack and the flop comes a high- you could be ruined here

besides that, it looks like a steal and you WANT to get called here

sneaking into the money should almost NEVER be anyone's goal. all the money is up top. get deep into a final table once and you'll never play to survive the bubble ever again.

First, your minraise looks more like a big pair than anything else, especially from UTG. Just push instead, it disguises your hand better. Plus, if your minraise gets called in one spot, it opens up the hand for other cold-callers preflop, increasing the chances you'll go bust. Finally, like another poster said before, you don't want to be seeing monsters under the bed when the flop comes A high.
