Default Pocket pair vs. paired board

I generally take this line with a pocker pair vs. a paired board if I'm in late position.
But I don't know if it's the right move.
Other options include calling the flop, raising the turn and check/calling the river. Or I could just simply call down.
It's hard to judge the likelihood of what I'm up against.
I'm also interested in hearing opinions on how this type of play would differ from early position.
Thank you.

I don't get why you would raise the flop. I wouldn't tell you you're wrong if you folded the flop. If you think that's too weak, call the flop, and see if the villain fires again on the turn, if he does, fold. bottom line here is, I hate the flop raise.

Any read on MP1? betting into the PFR and calling the raise looks like he has the Q to me.

I probably play it the same against an unknown....
If i have a read on him as passive I either fold or call and fold the turn.
