Laptop question-can download every major site except UB

Okay, so I bought a new laptop (wireless internet, very cool by the way) and I'm no techie but usually not completely incompetent. Here's my problem.

I'm in the process of seeting up all the programs once the computer's hooked up to the internet and Norton Antivirus comes in and suggests I block Ultimate buddy when I am trying to download. I accidently hit ok, realize my error, and don't know how to correct it. To make matters worse, I can't download UB-no warning from Norton, just refuses to recognize internet access for it. I know the internet connection is fine because I've downloaded Party and Pokerstars, have played on those sites, and enjoyed all of my other internet favorites.

I've attempted to uninstall Ultimate Buddy and Ultimate Bet (I get icons but no access to internet) and re-download, to no avail. The only thing I did was hit the wrong button on Norton, so I'm pretty sure that's the problem.

Any advice on how to repair the problem would be appreciated. Thanks.

Send an email to UB support and they will walk you through how to resolve this.

Sounds like you blocked off ftp access, check norton's firewall setting, see if port 21 is closed. If it is delete that rule.
