Default Party 1/2 vs. 2/4

im almost at 600 in my party account and when i hit it i am going to move to the 2/4 tables. Is the play different? i found there is almost no difference between the .5/1 and the 1/2. thanks for any input.

read the sticky topic's bit on bankroll.

.50/1.00 and 1/2 are pretty different. i'd try a couple sessions during the day before moving up.

You should probably wait till you have at least a grand before hitting 2/4. Unless you're confident.

Why would you move up with only 150 BB? That is asking for big trouble. Confidence and good play can't overcome a bad streak.

Take it from a 2/4 player who knows. 600 is not enough.

600 isn't enough for 2/4. I won $600 in just 2000 hands at 2/4. It is that easy to lose it as well.

This is what awaits you if you don't have enough BR for your level. Looks like fun, doesn't it?

I can attest to that. I hope you never decide to play 3/6 with me
