Default River play w/ 88

No interesting reads. Typical loose passive round up.

PokerRoom 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

The river card is a bit frightning, completing several draws. Do I want to start the betting again?

Bet that river. He may be string along with the top pair, to your underpair. Call a re-raise.

Not betting and then 3-betting this flop (should it get raised) is pretty bad given that you have no reads. You will almost always have the best hand should someone raise and then you can put the screws to the callers. You can't risk a check/though with this type of hand.

First off, thanks for the comment. Secondly, I'm not sure I understand the above statement. Please clarify.
