Default To bet or not to bet...

Only a few hands on villians, but somewhat loose/passive on all 4.... around 25/0/.5 was the average

Hard to offer pinpoint advice in this case, but this is how I think in these situations.

Am I calling if I check and someone bets? If yes, then I bet out and fold to a raise (usually).

I'd bet it.

Bet and fold to a raise. Players that passive will very very rarely bluff raise here. Only aces and 8s will raise you, me thinks. I'd like checking better if you were against more aggressive opponents who would either raise marginal hands or bluff at the paired board.
