Default Capping a suspected split?

Do you guys always cap it when you have the nuts? Say you make a one card straight and are pretty sure the guy you are heads up with has the same do you cap or just call after a reraise to possibly spare some rake?

I push. Particularly if the nuts is on the board.

More than once I have had a guy fold, not realising that he had the nuts too.
