Unfortunately, they are only open to US residents... To make matters worse, I have a Canadian city listed as my home town, so even if I were to make a case that I live in NY for part of the year, I would still be inelligable to participate.

Whats a matter??? Can't stand the heat from up north?!?!?

It is a World Cup. People in Canada can participate.
However, you can only represent Canada, not US.
It is tougher to represent US. There are so many good players from US.

Yes, we can stand up the heat from North.
Bring it on. I will reraise!

I just took a look at the Stars site and while they do say "there will be four teams representing the USA in the World Cup of Poker" (giving the impression that other countries are represented) - I couldn't find any mention on how someone from outside the US can play in this.. Any ideas will be helpful.

The I can BRING it!

Stars will bring other countries online.
Just be patient and wait for your country to show up there.

I'm fairly confident I wont have a whole lot of competition for Nebraska. Who lives in Nebraska?

Some really big Huck Finn lookin guy I see on the Huskers sideline. Live, he has a major head bobbing tell. Online, he mis-clicks abouts 90%.

I heard it was PLO8 for Nebraska, .

So if you make top 8 here, than you move on to what? I really dont understand the Structure.
