You can check the river though. I think that's less suspicious as I often get bet at when I do that.

So if anything, C/R the river.

I think you give your opponents too much credit, especially considering this is 5/10.

Meaning? They don't try to win it with a single bet on the river? They will if they have any type of hand. I've played a lot of 5/10 and 10/20 6-max in the past month and I'm pretty sure this is the right move if you want to extract the most bets. Look at it this way, if you bet the river, they'll fold hands they would check through and call hands they would bet. This is the way I see it, at least.

A lot of these players are looking for any reason they can get to check their JJ or AQ in this spot. If you have a read then it's different but most 5/10 players are passive.
