Default I\'ll kick it off....

Playing in an O8 sng....I get dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in late position and limp with about 5 people limping ahead of me (super loose game).

The Flop comes 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

The action is something like check check bet call raise when it's up to me. Lay it down or call? I layed it down, thinking the full house draw isn't worth calling a double bet, and I am only playing for half of the pot right now. Waddaya think?

Good fold. At these loose Omaha/8 games, they're liable to have trash like 8877, which would leave you completely screwed. At best, you have 4 outs to half the pot.

anyone actually know the odds for this hand? lets see... (6/45)+(6/44)=.27 pot odds are only about 5-1(not really sure how many people were in). but since you are only likly to get half, i think you fold.

I would have raised that preflop - in a SnG you can just sit around waiting for A2's or you'll blind away. With 5 limpers you know they're playing some real cheese even though your high kind of sucks, in a SnG sometimes you gotta push those small edges whenever possible.

A2 with nothing else? I'd only limp from late position.

I think it's a good fold you made.

I normally do with raise with the A2, but I thought in this case since I have nothing else that I will just limp in and see the flop.

It's a sit and go, you must use a more aggressive strategy because of ever increasing blinds.

In fact, when it gets heads up I go all in/raise preflop (PL SnG) about 90% of the time.

The fold on the flop is pretty standard.

I would fold as well for a double bet.

Hi Shootah:

I think it's an easy fold.

Best wishes,
Mason
