Adventures in Bonus Whoring Pt 1: The Neteller Shuffle

I'm a decent poker player with a winning record. I had a nice bankroll built up that, unfortunately, I had to mutilate for personal reasons. So, now I'm once again in the process of building a roll from scratch. I decided to skip the cryptos because I'll be changing addresses twice before April and worried about the PINS in that situation. I got my BR up to $200 by leather assing it in .5/1 Stud on Poker Stars and decided I'd follow Homer's advice and go bonus whoring. First stop, Paradise with the GRANNY code.

When I cashed out from Stars, the cashier says that all cashouts "up to the amount purchased" will be credited immediately, and all amounts over that will be credited to my Neteller account, but to allow 72 hours for that transaction.

So, I cash out $200 and now my Neteler account has $95 in it. (Which I NEVER bought into Pokerstars for. Confusing to me, but not essential to this post I guess.)

Now, I'm waiting on my $105 to take full advantage of the GRANNY code at Paradise.

MY QUESTION: Am I going to have to wait on delays like this the entire time I'm bonus whoring? Also, is it going to take the full 72 hours?

I've only cashed out via check before, so this is new to me.

Sorry for being off the topic at hand, but how long does it usually take PStars to get your check to you? Thanks...

You can expect to wait a minimum of 6 hours for your cashouts to show up in your neteller account. Usually the turn around is a day or two. If you whore Casino-on-net and Reef club those take like 5 days. So yes, you will be doing a lot of waiting for your money.

My cashout checks were from Jetset, and it was like a week and a half.

I think after your first cashout from PokerStars (which seems to take a few hours), cashouts after that generally are the fastest around - often being in your Neteller account in less than a minute.

I would anticipate delays like this when you are moving money around, yes. Most sites seem to like to take their time with cashouts for a variety of reasons. Your bankroll might not support it quite yet, but my preferred method is to make a deposit for more than I actually need to play at the site, then after playing a few hands, initiate a withdrawal for $100 or so from the site. Usually takes a little bit, but it seems to "grease the wheels" for future cashouts. I've done this at Party sites with great success.

Of course, eventually you'll have enough money that you'll be able to have a bankroll available at more than one site to work with, but that will take a bit. I've been in your shoes before, and you just have to have some patience. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
