Default Calling All-ins

These types of hands have been getting me in trouble lately. I call and lose to Ax and lose a considerable chunk of my stack. Should I be folding here?

Hand 1, with the blinds at a relatively low amount, and with your stack at a healthy level, there is no incentive to call an all in with KQ. In fact, it is almost always a mistake to call a raise with KQ.

Hand 2, with the blinds this high, you are getting 2-1 for the call and closing the action. Here I would call.

5 handed. Blinds 150/300. After posting the BB I have 425 left. Folded to BTN with T1500 who raises to put me AI. I have Q/10s.

You must call. In fact, you must call here with pretty much any two cards unless maybe you have 23o and there are 3 guys with 5 chips each or some ridiculous exception like that.

Re: your original post:

1. you must fold

2. you should most likely call

You absolutely call here.

As far as the other two go:

Fold the KQ.
Call the KJ.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t500 (3 handed) converter

Hero (t1775)
Button (t2005)
SB (t4220)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t1000</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t1775 (All-In)</font>, Button calls t775.

Final Pot: t3800

How about this "push"/call?
57 isn't that great, but I have 1/3rd of my stack in BB, and if the Button takes this down, both big stacks can afford to take a gamble with me, so i'll have very little if any equity if I fold. I'll have 1000 left after posting SB if I fold this.

The button is not aggressive PF however, so his minraise represents a very big hand. There is a real possibillity of an overpair.

Should I have folded or not?

Fold this. You have no folding equity on your push, and one of your next two hands is bound to have something higher than a 7 in it.
