Default hand reading accuracy?

I have trouble putting players on hands. Lately I have been using the hand playback feature on Poker Tracker. I would just like to get an idea how long or how many hands it has taken other players to become good at this. Also, any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

what limits are you playing at?
if your playing the .02/.04 or .05/.1 it is harder to put people on hands because they play so irrationally.

It depends upon player type, and as said above, the limits played. I would say at least a couple of tens of thousands would do some good. And that means that you are actually paying attention to the hands and not dicking around.

Search for "hand reading exercise" or something similar in the past month and you should find 1 or 2 that you'll enjoy reading.

Don't put opponents on a specific hand. Put them on a range of hands. That way you don't paint yourself in to a corner.
