Re: Running poker on 73\" sony hdtv?
It probably doesn't do 1600x1200, so it's not the ideal setup for multi-tabling.

Sounds doable, but it'd probably be better if it was one of those monitor/TV type tv's. Which it may be, I don't know.
You'll need to have a video card with TV Output for starters though. And I've never had a wireless mouse before, but the range will be a factor between your couch and computer too. |

Re: Running poker on 73\" sony hdtv?
I gave my hunch that this wouldn't be that hot over in the Zoo.
I neglected to mention though: 73" HDTV!?!?!? holy-crap!! I want to watch the game (doesn't matter what game...any game will do) at your house. This must be pretty awesome. $3k or $4k or so?? (I honestly have no idea how much these things run...just guessing). If you CAN get it to even play 2 tables I think that would be pretty cool. With the HDTV resolution maybe it would be possible. Or you could at least try the mini-view from UB. The ability to play on this humungo-setup from your couch, if it works, would be worth having to limit yourself to a non-party site. If I had this set-up I would invite all my friends over and say "Look at this. Not only is it cool looking...but it's how I make my freakin' income. Suck on THAT!!!" Get back to us if you get it to work and how you like it. |
