It's so far above the rest it's laughable. The whole rap world loves that cd, I don't think you could find one person in the industry that doesn't like it. The only other nominee that comes close is Jay-Z's Black Album and altough it's very good the 2 he put out before it were both better. Kanye's album is really diferent than most hip hop you hear today, he doesnt emphasize on bytches and ho's and drugs and murder. His lyrics actually have meaning and the Grammy voters love that crap. College Dropout was his deput and was only behind Outkast as the top selling hip hop cd. AND he recorded the entire album with his jaw wired shut, that has to count for something. The lines are at sportsbook. Yep among his TEN nominations, he's up for best new artist. (als o big fav. but afraid Maroon 5 might sneek in)
