I like it. I think you can safely put him on a hand and assume that raising the flop won't buy you a turn free card most of the time.

Barring reads I think that is a fold preflop.

I used to fold this to a raise, lately though I have felt like my play has been too tight and have tried to loosen up some. Maybe I should tighten it back down.

I would make a big raise on the flop. Other than that I think it was fine.

6-max, I don't think this is an autofold preflop. I would only fold vs. a very tight player, but you probably recognize that seeing an A doesn't mean you should start salivating.
UTG bet so weakly on both the flop and turn that it was correct to call even ignoring implied odds. I think you played it correctly. He's more than likely got a K, so a semi-bluff raise on the flop is not correct. He won't fold, and he may reraise you. It probably won't get you a free river, and he only bet $3 on the turn anyway. I would have pushed on the river, because if he'll call $20 he'll call $23, and I think pushing looks more like a bluff. But that's a pretty small difference. |

How can you make $ folding AQs to $2 preflop raise @ party poker? People make these raises with Pocket 2's all the time... Take a flop and see what happens, I think that folding is just way too tight.

You lose a lot of tiny pots, win a few small pots, and lose all the big ones. |

ill take AQs in a multi way pot over 2-2 any time. and i dont recall saying that if you hit a pair u should play it to the felt. Also with position- AQ could and should beat 2-2 more times heads up as u will be able to bluff your opponent off his hand many times when the 3rd 2 doesnt flop.
