Default a turn bluff

Button is 20%/2%/1.16. I misread GT+ to believe SB is 69%/9%/0.94 -- in reality this is only my 2nd hand against SB and GT+ hasn't updated yet.

I considered throwing another bluff at the river -- they maybe are scared of the flush but hold a single diamond of their own, or maybe me betting at two 8s in a row will scare them.

I think the pot was probably too big to bluff at. What's up with the flop play?

I personally wouldn't bluff at .25/.50 at all.

Wow, I have idea. I should have raised that. My best guess is I was so tired I didn't notice my queen paired.

I almost never try to pull stuff like this. But I always wonder if I should, so I did it with the sole intent to post it here and get opinions.

I would check/fold the turn. Button raises the flop with those tight ratings doesnt smell good to me.

The lower the limit the less you should bluff. Players will call down with just about anything, so it's not really worthwhile. If you happen to be at a tighter table you may be able to get away with it occasionally. This particular hand was a bad spot to try it imo. The pot was large so they were likely to call anyway. Since you didn't raise the flop and then fire on the turn it looks fishy. If they have anything that resembles a hand you aren't going to be able to push them off it, especially just with one bet on the turn.

If you had raised the flop you may have had a better shot at pulling it off, but it's still pretty slim.
