Raises and calls down a 3-bet ( barring a four flush on the river)?

What he said.

If villain really completed a draw on the turn, don't you think he'd go for a check-raise instead of betting out??

I dumped it. I thought I was behind, that a raise wouldn't protect my hand, and that my chances of improving were slim. This fold may have been incorrect, but I don't think it was a massive error. Am I wrong?

By the way, SB showed K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I think it's an error.

If you were ahead, you just gave up 7.5 BB's - plus probably another BB on the river, so like 8.5 BB's.

Calling down only costs you another 2 BB's.

Therefore, if you feel you were ahead more than 1 time in 5 (actually 23.5%)...folding was incorrect.

I think he's trying to enlist your aid here on the turn. He has some kind of hand, and it might need protection, I think you comply, and raise. After that, their are a lot of possible scenarios.

I dumped it.

I had a hard time deciding what I would do. My first two choices were fold and raise, and I decided, because my opponent didn't checkraise, that he more likely had a nonflush hand like top pair that needed some protection, so I decided to raise, but I think strong arguments for folding could also be made.

You said that he showed the flush, someone else must have shown down, did you notice if you were ahead or behind of the someone else?
