Wait a minute, the PPT is only a 200k freeroll? I thought it was a 500k freeroll. Does only first place get paid? if not then 200k doesn't seem like a good price pool for most pros.

Would love to know the details on this hand, I can't figure out any plausible scenario where Gazes calls an all-in here.
Unless Men's stack was already crippled or something? [ QUOTE ] The flop came JA9 with two clubs. Men went all in on the flop with QT clubs and was called by Gazes with 94. The turn came 4 clubs, giving Men the flush and Gazes two pair. The river was another 4, giving Gazes a full house. Men is the first player out of this event. [/ QUOTE ] |

Here's another good one:
[ QUOTE ] Gordon bet preflop with AQ and was raised by Brodie with pocket deuces. Gordon called and the flop came AQ3, giving Gordon two pair. Gordon bet half the pot and was called by Brodie. The turn was a two, giving Brodie a set and Gordon bet the pot. Brodie reraised all in and Gordon called. The river was no help for Gordon and he was left with 7k in chips. [/ QUOTE ] |
