Buying in short
I have heard numerous times that it is profitable(both online and in person) to buy in short and try to double through. For a 5/10 game, what buy in would be considered short? Also, are you basically just waiting for premium hands or medium strength hands against frequent raisers and/or a lot of dead money in the pot, and then pushing. You would pretty much never play a drawing hand given your short stack however. If someone could enlighten me on all the relevent changes in strategy(or direct me to a previous post), I would really appreciate it.

Re: Buying in short
Buying in short for 5/10 would be 500 or less. Yes, gotta play tight, drawing hands in only the best times, i.e. 5 limpers to you on the button. There was a great post about stack size theory written by The Gift of Gab. I would check that out.
