I hate this game! - no content
Down 1240 last night. I SUCK! Now 210 hours since I started keeping records, I'm up 110 bucks. This sucks and I suck. Aces cracked 3 times, Kings crakced twice. But there's no excuse for losing 69.11 big bets in one 10 hour session. I should have left at about the 7 hour mark when I was in for 1140 and down only 420. I knew it, but didn't do it. What a bad decision - I SUCK!
I just want to cry - not really ... but I'm pretty unhappy with myself. I just SUCK! Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. You can just tell me I really do SUCK ... that's ok too.

If you had come back that session and won two grand, would you have beat yourself up after the session for not quitting when you were up a thousand? Tommy

No, that's probably part of my problem though. I should have asked for a table change when I knew there were atleast 3 other players at the table that were probably as good as me if not better and they were all catching cards. But I could see what was happening and thought I could counter - wait for the right time and cards and get a chunk from any of the 3. That was dumb ... just change tables and look for the +ev situation. But I'm terrible, so I just choose to lose a bunch of money.

OK, maybe you do suck, but 210 hours is not anywhere near enough hours to determine if you beat the game or not. Once you have 2000+ hours logged, then you will know for sure whether or not you suck.

I played a long time without keeping records. I figured the two inch stack of hundreds was enough to show I was winning. However, I eventually decided to keep records of my live play.
Here is a paste from my journal... "So I am at the 200 hr mark and I am barely up like a few hundred bucks. I knew it was possible but I didn’t want to believe. Tonight I lost a big pot with a flopped set. I lost when I flopped two pair as well. AA lost twice. I went card dead for 2.5 hours. I would raise with the best hand and not flop anything. Just poker? Yeah, but what did I do wrong??? I think I played good. This running bad really sucks. I honestly am so [censored] sick of it." After that I won 15 sessions in a row. I flopped royal flush, quads, just like my opponents were. I would get AQ and beat KK, I would pair my kicker on the river, etc. So it can change, dude. Keep playing your regular game. 200 hours is NOTHING. Let this make you stronger.
