help with pokertracker

I primarilly play poker stars. Do you have to keep emailing hand histories and then upload them to pokertracker?? Is it easy to view stats on opponents while multitabling(i play 3 tables). if anyone want to pm me I'd appreciate any assistance. I guess my biggest gripe would be to have to keep uploading hands via my mailbox. The regulars here seem to believe the software is essential. I have been successful over 100k hands without it but will take any advantage available. Thank YOU
