Have been playing Party lately because the games at UB are way too tight even at the micro limits, but I am finding that the looser games are less predictable and it is harder to get good reads on hands.
I would like to see if everyone thinks the bigger the better and the more the merrier when it comes to pots and flops, or if there is a happy medium out there that will let someone make decent money while being able to play somewhat confidently that someone is not always going to be hitting runner-runner on the end. |

I like bigger pots...its nice to get paid off when your hand holds up. I like more players seeing the flops because I can play more speculative hands which is fun and leads to monster holdings and because more players tend to equal a better chance of getting paid off when my hands hold up.
I get sucked out on or miss the flop with almost as much frequency it seems on smaller pot tables and fewer people seeing the flop, and smaller wins really hurts when that's happening. --Zetack |

I like a big pot but a moderate VPIP (in the 30s).
The reason is that most advantage is post flop. Having AA versus 8 people can be a recipe for throwing bets in when your drawing dead later in the hand. I would much rather play have fewer people pay to see the flop and then have them keep throwing in BB when they have shity or no draws. My equity on those post flop mistakes is much better then my equity on the preflop mistakes. |

I'd gladly take AA vs. 8 opponents. It has the highest pot equity. So it only wins 1/4 the time. Big deal, when it does, you get paid HUGE.

This poll is idiotic. I hope you see why [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. No offense to the original poster, but having a large pot average and the whole table in the hand would be an insanely profitable game for a good player. Ponks |

I really like the people who answered 50-59 on the second question..."i like my opponents to be terrible, but not THAT terrible!"

All the people who voted anything but the last answer of each question really need to study up and figure out where their profit comes from in poker.
