why not raise the turn? There's a chance UTG will cold call 2 bets and UTG+1 will reraise. IMO you missed at least one bet here.

I was afraid of driving out the first player from the pot and possibly also the second player. By only calling on the turn i hoped for two things to happen.
1. committing the first player to the pot
2. planning to raise on the river if any of the players raised before me, otherwise getting a call from them because i showed weakness on the turn.

Since he bet into you on the turn IMO UTG+1 hit something worth sticking around and isn't going to fold to a raise on the turn (flush draw maybe). If he is on a draw and it doesn't hit, then you missed a bet on the river.

Definitely gotta raise the turn. The other guy could call two cold and the intial better might have a monster himself and reraise.

Also, if you raise the turn and the other guy folds, you make the same amount of money as playing the hand the way you played it. Raising the turn gives you the opportunity to make more on the hand.
